At the end of April, we took a family trip down to Legoland with Kyra's cousins Mia, Maddie, and Izzy, as well as their Dad (Kyra's Uncle Jason), and Grandma Linda. Kyra and Izzy are both still saying the letter "L" with a "Y" sound (much to everyone's delight), so we heard a lot of excited talk about going to "Yego-Yand." Unfortunately it was unexpectedly cloudy and cool all day, but that didn't dampen our spirits.
I know there are about a gazillion pictures here, but we had so much fun and it was hard to cut down on the cuteness! Kyra loved running around and playing with the "big girls," and she never got tired out! We only went on two rides - a train ride and boat ride, which Kyra liked - but we had fun walking all over the park and seeing the various lego structures. The city replicas were actually pretty spectacular (particularly Washington DC, NYC, and Vegas), and Geoff really liked the Star Wars replicas. Kyra was just barely too short for most of the rides, but she had a great time exploring while her cousins checked out the other rides. While playing at one of the enormous playgrounds (a huge fort-like structure), Kyra and Geoff even climbed up a big rope wall! Kyra loved it so much that they climbed up another 3 or 4 times and she really wanted to do it again, but it was time to head home.
