Kyra loves our kitty cats, but seems especially fond of Bella. She loves petting her and trying to cuddle up to her. Bella is surprisingly tolerant and actually seems to like it when Kyra pets her. But sooner or later, Kyra gets a bit too excited and giggly, and squeals at such a high pitch that Bella runs away. But Kyra chases right after her. Or Kyra goes looking for her, yelling "Bella, whatchyu doin?" We've been trying to catch a photo of Kyra giving Bella little nose kisses, but those two are rarely in one place long enough to get the camera.

Only A Few Dance Classes Left
Kyra and I went to our Mommy & Me dance class today. Including today's class, we only have a few left before Mrs. Sarah goes on maternity leave (and before we hopefully progress in our move to Mission Viejo. Ugh!). As usual, Kyra had a great time and was such a little ham for the camera. She moves around so fast that it's hard to capture photos, but I got what I could.
Storytime: The Very Hungry Caterpillar (one of Kyra's favorites!)

More "Pang-gins"
Kyra and Mommy went back to the Aquarium this week for another visit with the penguins. This time around, the penguins were swimming all over the place, but weren't very interested in posing for pictures on the little ledge where kids can walk/crawl underneath.
Kyra finally let me prop her up to see the sting rays in the touch pool. She put her fingers in the water and actually let one sting ray get pretty close to her hand, but I don't think she actually touched it. Kyra remembered the big sea turtle that we saw on our last visit and wanted to go back to the tunnel to find it again. At first we didn't see it, but soon found it hiding. It came out briefly, and Kyra probably could've sat there all day watching it!
