On Earth Day last month, we took Kyra to the Orange County Zoo at Irvine Regional Park, followed by a picnic near the lake. As much as Kyra was looking forward to finally going to the zoo, she was anxious to race right by the mountain lions, bears, foxes, eagles, sheep and many other animals, and instead wanted to rush right over to the goat petting zoo. She had so much fun petting and brushing the goats, which were very friendly, vocal, and would walk right up to her. After the zoo, we enjoyed a picnic near the water on a warm, sunny day. We're definitely big fans of Irvine Regional Park!
